Though the odds are not great of harvesting a wolf or wolverine on our regular season hunts, we encourage our hunters to purchase tags and charge nothing if either is harvested in conjunction with another hunt. We typically take 5 or 6 wolves and see numerous wolverines throughout our regular season. The tags are $121 for wolverine and the government harvest fee is $242 should you get one. There are no longer any fees for wolf tags and the government has also waived the harvest fee for wolves. Our wolf hunts are conducted from mid March to mid April. We use snow machines to travel and set up warm, cozy spike camps along the way. Each hunter is allowed to harvest 2 wolves on this hunt. Hunts are 10 days of hunting. It is a wonderful time to be in the mountains as we see lots of game. We do calling and spot-and-stalk on this hunt and will work hard to get you at least one giant northern wolf to take home.
